Ahsahka Pioneer Called By Death

      Orofino, April 21 - William J. Carey, 85, died yesterday (April 21) after a long illness. He had been a resident of Clearwater county for more than 50 years. In 1910 he was united in marriage to Eunice Mapes at Teakean. They settled in the North Fork area where he farmed until his retirement four years ago.
      Survivors are his wife and a son Schuyler Mapes Carey. Funeral services will be at the Teakean Grange hall Tuesday afternoon at 2 with a reader from the First Church of Christ Scientist Lewiston officiating. Interment will be in the family plot at Teakean. Arrangements are in charge of Blake Funeral home.
